The excellent studio debut of a live staple for the band. A highlight off their otherwise bloated album
Perhaps the best performance on an album filled with great contributions by Freddie and Madlib. More then any other track carries the minimalist sample focused production and transitions which Madlib excels at.
The lead single off their second 2019 project, Not delivers on the promise for a rawer and more focused evolution of the mystical indie rock and folk Big Thief initially impressed with.
